Magpie's Nest

Celebrated Alice B.'s 66th Birthday today, Smoked Salmon & Cream Cheese Bagels and Bucks Fizz for Brunch.  Lamb & Veg for Tea. She enjoyed lots of Cards, Callers and Pressies.

I sowed Peas, Sugar snap & Hurst Greenshaft in trays in the greenhouse. Spent an hour breaking down the cuttings from the front, hoping I can get it all into the car on Wednesday.

Today I took a snap of the magnificent nest that a pair of Magpie's are building high up in a near -by  Tree. A pair of Crows have visited our Garden today, and appeared interested in what the M's are up tp.

I hope their work survives the high winds that have been forecast for Thursday.
