New set of wheels

The plan for today was to have a walk with the friends we stayed with last night near Bristol, pub lunch, and then off up north to stay with my folks. Unfortunately it turned that staying up until 3 am talking nonsense left all four of us a little broken this morning. So no walk, but we did manage to stagger along the road for a pub lunch.

Mr B had spent part of the morning looking on-line at cars and so we headed off after lunch to check one out. And bought it. So here's our new wheels (the other wheels are also there). With a certain inevitability, that has made our life more complicated, since a 4x4 is not hand luggage compatible... So Mr B is about to head off to drive the car to Toulouse airport so it will be there to take us home next Saturday. He'll then fly to Newcastle where I can pick him up and the holiday can proceed as planned.... (Though a hitch has been discovered that may scupper that...)

So the kids have had a great day playing outside, mostly bouncing on a trampoline with an assortment of weapons. And we get more time with our friends too, who have volunteered to put up with for another night.
