Threefer

Today I have been practicing the technique of panning, for the next camera club competition.  It's totally out of my comfort zone.  The hardest thing - apart from the actual technique - is thinking of a suitable subject.  Standing on street corners photographing cars seems a bit odd.  So I've started with the fulmar that nest on the cliffs at the south end of the harbour.  I'm now thinking I should have started with something that moves slower.

Anyway.  This is not a panned photo, nor is it three photos of one bird; it is three birds.  Just happened to catch them as they were taking off.
