Mono Mum Day

or, a mummified mum......

Flowers here are hard to come by naturally this time of year.  But with the temps unseasonably in the low 60's I spent some time in the yard this afternoon stalking.a blip for today's Mono Monday challenge, "Black and White Flowers."  I had a snap of the Rhododendron buds lined up when I noticed the crusty dried mums still on their stems.  The texture made this pic more interesting for me.
