The Long Walk Home
Early morning mist all too briefly graced the lake, evaporating before I could capture its presence. In the moments following as the view revealed itself, a lonely goose made its way by foot, where to known only to the bird.
Waves of light and shadow passed overhead lighting up the ice surface here and there. I like that there is a lot of space behind her/him, showing the distance covered, and that the goose is so small in the frame.
I kept the background soft and faded detail in the distance to aid recession
