Two sides to every day

Charlotte has been tired today, tired and a little bit grumpy. She slept well last night and went back to bed after a nappy change at five this morning.
She ate her breakfast then snuggled up ready for morning sleep. We played, we had a giggle, we played we had lunch. After lunch she got more and more grumpy so I took her upstairs, put her in her sleeping bag and off to sleep she went. We woke her after forty minutes as I didn't want her to have too long.
By tea time the grumpy Charlotte was back so we did early ish bath, long story and night garden session and I'm now typing this sat outside her room waiting for her to be asleep so I can sneak in and put the monitor on as I forgot to do as I left the room! Doh!
Daddy off to John Shuttleworth in Cheltenham tonight, I would love to be going too, but not on a school night.
