Wait for 29 years...

...to see a red squirrel and then 2 come along at once! The woods at Wallington were full of beautiful birds including a Brambling, which I have never seen before. The noise they were making was fantastic. All of a sudden everything went silent, the birds all flew away and two amazing red squirrels scampered up adjacent trees and kindly sat in classic 'squirrel pose' for me to get this shot. Absolutely made my day.
