Polskie

Pictured today are the Polish War Graves from WWII, with some other commonwealth airmen, which is towards the far end of Newark Cemetery. I can make out Australian and Canadian emblems on the extra, but being British I have minimal chance of translating some of the others.

"Wojska Lotnicze i Obrony Powietrznej"

..was the name of the Polish Airforce until 2004. it translates to "Air and Air Defence Forces".

Today  we added a brisk walk looping in Balderton Lake as well. There were lots of Goose and Duck action spread over the lake and we saw Mute Swans, Canada Geese, Moorhens, Mallards and a hissing pair of white coloured geese.
