Twang..
I'm still alive, Lady V took my congratulations yesterday on 'International Women's Day' in good humour and was chuckling at my blip comments...see I'm really not a chauvinistic pig.
Ironically today is 'National Get Over It Day'....Oh the irony, obviously devised by a man on the back of yesterday to annoy the staunch feminists.
I've spent a good bit of time on communications with NHBC regarding the drain which has collapsed and they are advising I need a CCTV survey and report from a drain specialist company. This is something I was going to get done anyway in case there are further issues down the soil pipe that has contributed to the problem. I'm being told that there is a minimum claim value of £1750 before they can validate, with my house insurance advising that if it's down to poor workmanship it's not covered.
I'm starting to think the answer is to dig it out myself and replace the push fit connector with a welded joint packing underneath with fresh aggregate, a couple of days work at most but It's not going to be pleasant.
I have a few zoom calls this morning then I'd better get back on the phone to organise an inspection of drain to forward to Insurers.

When your old man had let you down
Like a fool, I fell in love with you
You turned my whole world upside down'
