Few jobs tackled in the garden, including 'harvesting' a batch of homemade compost.

Its been quite a while in the making, as I was still learning about the right technique for success.

But the result is a rich, lovely mixture that is now in use as mulch on one of the borders, and ready in bags to pot up summer veg and flowers.

I did take a picture, but thought these crocus were slightly prettier.
