Birth

Today a most momentous event occurred. I delivered my first baby at 5.04am. A girl. My hands were the first on a new life.

What an honour. I am privileged beyond my wildest dreams. And I get to do this for the rest of my working life.

I also saw my first C-section. What a night shift.
