6 Fat Dutchmen
Traveled to New Ulm, MN to tour the Minnesota Music Hall of Fame in New Ulm, MN. Every year this organization inducts Minnesota musicians who have made significant contributions to the Minnesota Music Scene. I thought this music stand from the 6 Fat Dutchmen was fun. Looks like it was well-used!
We have never spent any time in New Ulm so went down to spend the day. Besides the Music Hall of Fame, we also visited the Brown County Museum, the famous New Ulm Glockenspiel, the Hermann the German statue and the Schell's Brewery. We had a terrific dinner and enjoyed some great blues music at the Grand Kaberet. German immigrants settled this area of the state and as you tell New Ulm continues to celebrate their German heritage.
Great day, we will come again in the summer or fall.
