These natural decorations were put up in this fir tree for Christmas and they're still hanging on in there. Talking of Christmas, it seems my New Zealand Christmas cards arrived this week - it's only taken them more than three months - posted at the end of November! 

A grey and dismal day weatherwise I have been on the computer for most of it but managed to tear myself round the circuit minor  and only got marginally wet. There were one or two other souls out and about too.
