Stuck in the Middle With You
A grey day, where I’ve not ventured outside so I’m using this picture I took on Sunday, thinking I might need it if I didn’t get out yesterday (if that makes any sense!)
Felt absolutely fine today, though I did go to bed at 9pm last night, I was so tired! On the plus side, it meant I didn’t have to watch the Harry and Meghan show. Jeremy Vine posed the question at lunchtime “did the interview change your opinion about them?” Nope. Didn’t care before, don’t care now. They’re adults and they’ve made a choice as to their future. Now get on with it and stop whingeing.
Apart from a workout this morning, I’ve not really done anything else, hence the lack of blip opportunities! But whilst out and about on Sunday, I noticed this tree that had been cut down, apart from a couple of feet of branch which was firmly lodged in the railings. So much so that the railings had actually been bent apart by the growing tree. Just goes to show that, given time, nature will usually overcome anything man made - apart from a chain saw it would seem! I’m assuming someone will be along to remove this final piece of tree in due course.
We seem to be in a bit of a limbo at the moment. With no kids, or relatives in care homes, there were no major changes to our lives yesterday. We are really just marking time now until travel restrictions are eased in April and we can get down to Chester again. Still, there is always the excitement of supermarket day tomorrow to look forward to (not!)
