Path in the Park

So much rain and wind during the night that there wasn't much left for the morning ..... plans for house work were put on hold as I donned my outdoor gear and headed out for a walk. It was a day for keeping to the proper tarmacked paths where there were fewest puddles.

The rain did start again just before lunch time but I had enjoyed stretching my legs and talking to many dog owners so was happy to walk back to the car. 

You'll see in the extra that Mrs Goosander did find her mate.

Hoovering and dusting can be done anytime but I did defrost the freezer while my soup was heating .... it's a job that never takes as long as I expect and it certainly gives me a chance to find out what's been hiding at the back of the drawers.
