A muster of peafowl

It started with one female peahen head peeking over a rooftop. I gasped and grabbed the camera. Fifteen minutes later there were three huge parading males and several females perched around on various rooftops. They obviously belong to the castle São Jorge that we were walking around, and are having an excellent time without any tourists. It really was a magical moment to see so many slowly appearing on an empty street.
