Project 365 day 68: Tulips in the Sun

A bright morning revealed the translucence of the tulip petals, creating deep shadows where they overlapped. It's a pity I was not committed enough to move the chairs... but this would have required moving the table, and I really didn't have much time. The ten or fifteen minutes I spent taking 35 tulip photos, along with fifteen minutes of peace and warm sun on the balcony with coffee and a book before lunch, were the nicest bits of an otherwise fairly trying day.
