Crossing the lake

When we talk about 'going to the town on the other side of the lake' I think some people imagine us getting into a boat..... we actually go by car, the road goes over a causeway from the right of the picture onto the island and then across a long high bridge (hidden) across the deeper and wider part of the lake. The road you can see coming up out of the lake on the left of the photo is the old road, it goes over the hill and straight back into the lake!
