Sally Mair - Loving life

By Sallymair

Somewhere......

Midweek again. Spent the morning waiting for the tree trimmers to turn up. Sadly they missed the nice morning and had to work in the wetter afternoon. What an awful night it was last night, the wind and rain kept me awake till after 1. I was astounded by how calm it was when I woke this morning. We drove down to Seafield to pick up my car which Katy has been using for the last few months. It was nice driving my polo again, a good wee car.
I got home to the sight of this lovely double rainbow. There is something about rainbows which gladdens my heart and this is the first I've seen for a long time.
I went out again to pick up the girls from after school club and nursery. I got a lovely welcome from both. It's so lovely to have to have them as the only child care option, lucky us.
After tea they played quietly, well Eilidh read her book and Isobel played with her dolls, both quite independent and confident and a joy to watch. Can't believe Isobel starts school in August.
Keep safe and well everybody
