Getting homely!

Today we have made more use of the heat generated, and added a kettle to our stove. Not any old kettle, but one I bought Jon for Christmas last year, specially made to go on this stove. It has a curved side where it hugs the chimney. When not in use, it can be swung round out of the way.

We filled it and put it on the stove at 9.30. It took until 12.30 to boil!! Lol. A bit late for our 11 o'clock coffee. But we had another cup of coffee anyway! The fire needed to be further back in the burner. So something to think about next time!

A busy work day and looking forward to my day off tomorrow. Finished making my cards tonight and that's about it.
