Location, location, location
Today, I traded in my iPhone for an upgrade and believe it or not, that took all day. Morning spent on the phone with Telus, then the afternoon waiting my turn at the COViD one-client-at-a-time Telus store, and then the great switch over of phones, followed by the back-at-home follow-up tasks of letting the car know it has a new phone connected, setting up the facial recognition thing, and trying to figure out all the new settings on the camera - without a manual of course. I do not find these things to be "self-evident", so a manual would had speeded things up. Perhaps it is my age. Anyway, before I knew it, the day was gone! Darkness had fallen and I had no blipfoto for the day! So, why this photo of a freeway? Because it was dark and the bridge and highway are lit up and if not that photo, then it would have to be another picture of my cat.
About this freeway ... it is the 401, the busiest freeway in the country and it is only two blocks from my house. Imagine that. It is the main commuter route into Toronto and at "rush" hour is at a standstill. We are part of the urban sprawl of the Greater Toronto Area. So it is not all beaches, wetlands, swans and geese here as my postings might suggest. Oh yes, did I mention that I also live between two nuclear power plants? Location, location, location.
