Nest Building ...

Again a day where sunshine seems only to exist as prediction in a weather report ... I decided to go out looking for signs of spring. I found such in park Semiramis in our area. A heron couple was busy building a nest high up in a tree (better had brought with me a 400mm tele lens ;)) . On the picture one of them (male?/female?) returning from the ground with a tiny branch in the beak ... ;)
