Day 353 Lunchtime

The weather was not good again today and Mr MC was kind enough to take Violet to school on his own.  I have spent the day doing really not much at all and rather too much time huddled under my heated throw.
I did manage to take a few shots as you see, of the birds feeding in the garden.  Bigger birds like the magpies fly off as soon as I approach the camera set up on a tripod at the window and favourite for the smaller birds at the moment seems to be not to go to the ample supply of feeders just a few feet from the window but instead choose this feeding station at least 2/3 of the way up the garden.  There was a robin waiting his turn in the uncropped version of this shot but he hid cunningly behind some branches so that he couldn't be seen properly.
