The Pocketbooks

Great friday night, went to see The Pocketbooks as part of a four group bill in Manchester, the lead singer is the sis of a friend of ours and it was a cracking gig and a touch beery :-)

Really cool bouncy music but very clever lyrics. Whimsical, ironic, and on occasions just the right hint of darkness hidden in there too.

Great bunch who have just released a cd and deserve to go far.
