Low tide

It was a lovely day today but H is not at all good, he's very weak and hasn't been able to go out for a walk for days. This lunchtime I drove us down to the sea and we ate a picnic  in the car overlooking the sea and North Wales. That made us feel really old!! It was very windy so it would not have been a good day to sit out anyway. Then we went on to Hoylake where I took this photo. It is looking towards North Wales but from a different angle   than I usually take the view. I also took some shots of gulls trying to fly but not moving due to the strong wind and some little redshanks getting blown backwards as they were feeding!
