Gate hole

As you can see, it has been a bit of a struggle to find something blip-worthy for today.  There has been a very cold wind blowing all day which meant that when I did go out and when it wasn’t raining I didn’t feel like taking my gloves off.  So this is the gate post for Victoria Park in Peebles.  It must be many years since it functioned as a gate post, but you can see something of the life it has led through the remains of the different layers of paint
