Four Seasons in One Day

Strong winds, sunshine, dark clouds, a phenomenal hail storm; we've had it all today. As well as that we woke up to no broadband or telephone. I logged the fault and within 5 minutes, we got a response saying that an engineer would be with us in about 10 minutes - which they were. Two vans. They immediately diagnosed the problem as a dodgy overhead cable. They set about replacing it from the telegraph pole across the road, whilst at the house end, we had to wait hour or so for a cherry picker to arrive from Barnsley. Less than 3 hours from logging the fault, we were up and running again.
