Bright

The weather forecast for Wednesday afternoon was not promising, so I went for my walk in the morning for a change and left my usual odds and ends until the afternoon.

That turned out to be the right choice as, while I may have got caught in a shower or two, the weather took a severe downturn later: gales and rain and just generally unpleasant.

Photographed these primroses in the garden of Haggs church as I walked past. A bright splash of colour on a day that was to turn increasingly grey by the hour.
