Build it up, knock it down

A very up and down day for Max today.
We had a lovely morning playing and building. We made lunch together and after lunch I explained to Max what happened to the dodos. (He has been calling me a dodo for some reason and I asked if he knew what they were.)
When I explained what had happened to the dodos all those years ago Max broke down in tears and cried for the dodos.
By the time we were out to collect Anya he was wiped out and had a much needed nap!
