Llyn Padern

A lovely day again with a bite to the wind, we took the campervan for a spin to keep it's wheels turning after the winter and finished up in Llanberis in Snowdonia, there were quite a few people out enjoying the sunshine, some men were sailing their radio controlled model boats on the lake we have seen them before so think it is a regular Sunday meet.
We climbed up to Dolbadarn Castle which you can just about see in the distance, (best seen in large) it is in ruins except for the keep which dates from 1230 - some great views of the lake mountains and the slate quarry can be seen from up there.
