Lovely Lymm

Spent some time at Lymm Dam today. Monkey is still a bit under the weather but we all needed some fresh air and sunshine. Though not feeling particularly well, Monkey did two new things today-- He crawled onto the sofa for the first time on his own (then up into the windowsill, eeek!), and he definitely said a word! "Done (he wanted to get down from the table)." with the sign and everything so I can't deny it any more. The boy speaks!

Chickpea was very funny today. She saw the fairy carving (in the pic) and commented about how the fairy was sad. I asked why she thought the fairy was sad and she said, "she doesn't have her brother." Then I asked if she could make her feel better with a cuddle and Chickpea replied, "no, cus it's a 'tick (stick)!" There's me told, then!

PS. The poor neglected dog will do anything for attention. She found the biggest stick possible and carried it all the way around. All the other dogs had stick envy big time.
