It's back!

A cold, dreary, grey day, gales blowing all day, interspersed with some very brief sunny spells, culminating in this white out just before sunset. There was a sudden blizzard of thick snowflakes and the ground was covered in just a few minutes. A fairly bleak day when I thought that Spring was on the doorstep just a week ago!
Luckily my insulated greenhouse has maintained its above zero temperatures no matter how cold it's been outside. I have a few seeds sprouting already and they look really healthy so maybe spring is on the way after all!
The last week has been filled with nothing much more than the continued troubles within my brother's family which is slow moving, and sorting things for my mum. I have yet to get started on using the lovely beautiful butterfly fabric bought for the girl's skirts. Each day I tell myself I will make one today, then my time is diverted to some other little problem that needs sorting.
Mum is being told she is going home tomorrow, Friday, just as soon as the care package is sorted and she has all the help she needs to keep her going until she moves. She is completely off the oxygen now and has managed to walk a short distance. The move is still progressing. I've been told as soon as she is discharged from hospital a date for the assessment will be set ASAP.
I'm sure things are "on the up!"
