Eager

After my wonderful birthday yesterday I was exhausted all day today and had a mild headache. It wasn’t a hangover - I had one very small drink before dinner. Didn’t do much today, didn’t go anywhere. The weather has been foul for a couple of days - cold, wet and windy - so I’ve sheltered in my warm cosy home and have been happy enjoying my flowers and gifts.

This lily is the only one open so far. The others are being very shy!

I was in bed by 9pm!
