This morning I spoke to a man who's working on the flat above me. We met at the tall gate to a shared courtyard. He said " sorry my love ", I bit my lip and asked please could he shut the gate after him.( its been left open all week ) I don't want my pots of lilies nicked. He launched into a tirade, went into the upstairs flat slamming the door.  Being his love didn't last long eh!
