Crocus

Weatherwise we have had everything today - strong winds, sleet, snow, rain and sunshine. The consistency has been that it has felt very cold.
Despite it all, the spring flowers are increasingly brightening up the garden and there are carpets of snowdrops around almost everywhere.
My new mouthpiece has arrived so I have been giving it a good trial with different reeds. As hoped, it is very flexible to different styles and very responsive, although better with some reeds than others. I think I am going to enjoy playing it. 
We are going to the theatre tonight with friends - well virtually. We will both be watching a National Theatre performance of 'Mosquitoes' with Olivia Coleman at the same time in our respective homes, followed by a post performance drink and chat on Facetime. It will be good when we can go to a theatre again together, but better than nothing.
