Much hilarity with Auntie Liz

The boys had been playing outside with their Dad (who was tidying the garden), the first time they have really been out there for months. It was wonderful hearing them play out there, in the Summer, they are rarely seen indoors.

Then something else that brightened my heart. A surprise visit from my oldest friend (dating back to school times) and her spouse. She too kicked off her shoes to play on the trampoline with the boys, despite the fact that (erk!) she is now over 40 (when did that happen???).
