FRIDAY

I had a day off work today but the weather was so dreadful I couldn't do any of my planned outdoor jobs.

We managed a short walk late afternoon and I went out for a walk round the block in the dark in order to clock up my 10,000 steps.

Harriet and George were celebrating this evening following George's successful viva voce examination which marked the culmination of his PhD programme.
