Hardcore Bodging
The electrician reported yesterday that the new cooker isolation switch (as part of the rewiring) was slightly larger than its predecessor, so the cut tile that we'd carefully removed, needed a slightly larger cut.
I've no idea what these tiles are made of but my tungsten carbide cutter was making heavy weather of it and, predictably, one of the thin side sections snapped (accompanied by a succinct chorus of Anglo Saxon).
Anyway, I wasn't going to fight with another tile so finished off the cutting and stuck the fragment back with superglue just to hold it in place, and backed it up with a bolt and araldite to set overnight.
Successfully slotted it back into place today and no-one will ever know...
