Common grackle

I came upon this fellow today in the old apple orchard. Usually they hide among the tree branches, making it near to impossible to get a decent photo, but this one was more cooperative. As I crept closer, he seemed to be waiting for me to say blip. Then a man walked past, and he hopped out of my range, but I already had the blip I wanted. Today has been a beautiful clear day, a little on the cool side, but still a great day for a walk in the park. Hope your weekend is a good one.
