Another Big Family
A sunny warm day for fourteen baby guinea fowl (keets) to arrive in the world. They hatched out in a nest under under a dahlia bush in the garden and it was too far for them to walk 300 metres down the paddock to an empty coop so I carried them in a basket with Mum and three minders following. It was a tiring experience for the babies and after eating a small meal they crawled under their mother for a sleep.
