Nuthatch Nest

We couldn't decide if this nuthatch was building a nest in this tree hole or taking material to build a nest elsewhere. In either case it is something to keep an eye on during our regular walk.

Lands End to John O'Groats 1000 Mile Virtual Challenge Update

Day 34 -  Devon. 4.5 miles walked. 174.8 miles completed.

Continuing along the A3052 the route passed to the north of Seaton but I took a quick diversion into the town to visit the Hat micro pub for a virtual pint (another pub from the Good Beer Guide). I also went for a virtual ride on the Seaton Tramway and a spot of virtual bird watching at Seaton Wetlands.  After returning to the route I passed through Colyford, crossed the River Axe and finished to the north of Axmouth so I will be crossing into Dorset tomorrow.
