Happy neighbours
When I got home, I noticed my neighbors covering a new white cedar cloth for the spring. Because the camera always travels with me, I manage to take a photo of them at work. They’re used to the way I capture photos of life in our yard, so they are able to be relaxed in the photos.
Seedlings were planted last fall, so in the spring there is a risk that the small trees will dry out because the ground is still frozen and the roots will not absorb water even if the sun warms the top of the tree. To avoid this, it is better to cover the seedlings with a permeable protective cloth that will protect them from sunburn.
