The Longford stream

Torrential overnight rain resulted in localised flooding. Almost at the end of our morning walk the spaniel and I came to the Longford stream which had spilled over. The choice was either retrace our steps for five miles or get the spaniel to swim across. He chose the latter and I had to follow, the water coming within a whisker of my wellie tops.
