Woodland Walk

Anthea and I walked through the woodland behind the chapel at Bradwell Abbey this afternoon. We heard about some new artworks that had been added along the woodland path. Each artwork was inspired by an interview with someone with a connection to the abbey site. This one was inspired by someone who had seen what she thought was the ghost of one of the monks walking through the tunnel under the train line.

The artist took photographs which were laser etched onto acrylic with extracts from the interviews. The frames and posts for them were made by Milton Keynes “Men in Sheds”.
