Ringed Plover

The light wasn't helping but it is diffcult to go wrong with this dapper Ringed Plover.
My impression is that numbers are building up currently as many head through from further south and up to the Arctic to breed. Some remain here and they too are starting beocme territorial. 
Spring is in the air - although it didn't feel like it at times today.
Today's excitement? A chinese takeaway.
