Stigma

The little Jonquils in our hanging baskets are all now flowering. And very pretty they are too.

At one level this image is a bit of a disaster. Only 1% - the top of the stigma - is in focus. At another level, I quite like it. It’s a bit of a sunburst.

I will have to practice focussing, but on a day which is not as windy as today. Having said which, this is a small flower, it’s a miracle anything is in focus.
