Is it Saturday

I have asked that question a few times today. We walked our usual weekend route as it’s normally quiet, but not today. We bumped into two other couples that live in our street and doing the same walk.
Finished my book, it was so nice reading something written in the 40s, the language was so sweet.
The birds have been active in the garden, unfortunately Hetty has realised that when I pick up my camera there is something interesting outside and runs to a window. Lots of blossom on the trees in and beyond the garden and a few bits of colour appearing, so lovely this time of year.
