Sand Boatie Hoose
A breezy day again, and more showers. There has been some sunny spells, and a better evening.
Up early, and our with Sammy after breakfast. Been up to check the peat hill this morning, which will need a tidy, but not in the rain. Popped by Madeline's to say hello on our way home. Met mam, bro Jonny and his lasses for a walk this afternoon. A busy night working in the shop. Lerwick has sold out of flowers for Mother's Day, so a mad rush here. More walkies, and then feet up.
Our mission this afternoon was to find frogs, and we did, but not many. It wasn't long before the showers started again, so we headed into the woods to take shelter. Shame the door wasn't open on this boatie house, or we could have taken shelter inside. This kinda shed used to be common here. When a boat ends it's days at sea, it can still make a instant roof. L-R - Jonny, mam, Michaela and Lena. Taken in Granny's Trees, da Gairdens, Sand.
