Fortunately we managed to avoid the large puddle by walking on the very soggy muddy grass verge and to a certain extent this picture sums up the weather on today’s walk.  The sky was alternately bright blue and white with grey scudding clouds occasionally dropping rain and even hail and the strong winds were ruffling the deep water in this lane.
