A beautiful late summer's day

We had a jaunt across Hamilton this morning, checking on a couple of properties and then dropping in on family who had offered us cooking apples from their generous old tree. Not a cloud in the sky.
This afternoon got out and shovelled and bucketed the remaining compost from truck tray to various rose gardens and as there's barely a drop of rain in sight for 10 days , I have the sprinkler going on the vegetable gardens overnight.
An hour or so stitching after that, down in the stitching cave with the sliding doors wide open and the sound of this waterfall for company.
